Surah Al-Qadr is the 97th chapter of the Quran, consisting of 5 verses. It highlights the significance of the Night of Decree, in which the Quran was revealed, and the blessings it brings. Below are the verses of this Surah.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ ١
Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. (1)
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ٢
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? (2)
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ٣
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. (3)
تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ٤
The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. (4)
سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ ٥
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. (5)
