Surah Al-Masad is the 111th chapter of the Quran, consisting of 5 verses. It speaks about the fate of those who oppose the truth and choose the path of wrongdoing. Below are the verses of this Surah.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ ١
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. (1)
مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ ٢
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. (2)
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ ٣
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame (3)
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ ٤
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. (4)
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ ٥
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. (5)
