Surah Al-Ma'un is the 107th chapter of the Quran, consisting of 7 verses. It addresses the characteristics of those who neglect small acts of kindness and highlights the importance of sincerity in worship and charity. Below are the verses of this Surah.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ ١
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? (1)
فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ ٢
For that is the one who drives away the orphan (2)
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ٣
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. (3)
فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ ٤
So woe to those who pray (4)
الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ٥
[But] who are heedless of their prayer - (5)
الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ ٦
Those who make show [of their deeds] (6)
وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ ٧
And withhold [simple] assistance. (7)
